A firm believer that good things come to those who work hard, Jesenia Rosado is a Brooklyn College Graduate with a Bachelor's of science in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Theater, with the determination to become a news reporter for a major network.
As the former News Director for WBCR, she was able to flex her creativity and managerial skills by overseeing a team of 10 news reporters who strived to produce content that is both unique and diverse for the Brooklyn community. One of her goals was to bring a visual element in news reporting in order for members to have a well-rounded experience with news production for both Radio and Television. She has a passion for journalism, storytelling, and visual art in which has been the driving force for her. On her last year at Brooklyn College, she worked on an independent study where she focused her research on the negative impact plastics have on the environment. In the meantime, she enjoys spending her time bringing awareness to LGBTQ issues. |
